| As a response to the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19-pandemic on cities, the Intelligent Cities Challenge is launching wider support for COVID-19 through a series of city-focused interactive webinars, to help cities navigate the current crisis and implement appropriate responses. The next webinar focusses on “Building cities’ resilience: mobilising local ecosystems” and is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th, at 4pm (CET). The webinar will provide an overview of the EU’s response to the COVID-19 crisis and give examples on measures for resilient cities, with an emphasis on bottom-up community approaches, social economy platforms and the role of technology. The webinar will combine perspectives of European Commission speakers and cities and social economy platform experts.
